Jade was part of the Executive Planning Committee who organised the VRU’s Youth Takeover Day!
This event was shaped to give young people aged 16+ access to opportunities within education or employment, as well as the chance to learn through the delivery of workshops and get their voices heard at the panel session.
Jade played a key role on the board planning the event. Jade also attended the event as an employee of the Princes Trust, where she is a Youth Development Lead. She led a workshop focused on Employability and received 100% positive feedback from young workshop attendees.
VRU’s Stronger Futures event was put together by the Young People’s Action Group.
Jade co-created the event to connect young people to positive opportunities with businesses, employers and trainers from across London. Jade was one of the event hosts, speaking to over 100 young people.
